Hey heyyy!
about me
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet! My name is Grace Torres (my maiden last name is Jicha) and I'm a traveling wedding and elopement photographer living in the sunshine state and traveling often. I fill my life doing the things I'm passionate about and with the people who brighten my days immensely.

When I don't have a camera in hand you can find me with a pen and paper instead. I love all things involving words and graduated with my B.S. in Journalism and minors in Graphic Design and Visual Art which plays a big role in my artistic and photojournalistic style of shooting weddings!

I also recently got married, so I know what wedding planning is like! Christian and I got married in May of 2021 and it was the best day EVER! It was so much fun being in the same season of life as my couples and I cherish having close relationships knowing what that season is like!
I've always been more artistically inclined and photography is something I've loved since I was young. I started out with a little Canon Powershot photographing the flowers in my yard and my friends.

My photography business was created out of my love for imagery and art. I didn't really think about ever turning photography into a business until two years after I purchased my first DSLR. In 2016 I started my business and with that came so many dreams to serve couples on their special day in beautiful places. I've had the opportunity to shoot weddings in New York City, Boston, Asheville, Jamaica, New Jersey and more! I'm so thankful to have the privilege of doing I'm passionate about serving the sweetest clients on their special day.

I'm most inspired by people's stories, and it seems to me that life is always changing. I adore documenting the most memorable pieces of your story and freezing those moments in time so you can go back to them through a simple photograph. I believe that love is intentional, so the art that reflects your love should be intentional too. I love to capture the things that emulate beauty to me, the in between laughs, raw emotion and unexpected reactions. I believe in images that reflect you, ones you cherish, and lots of them.
Your wedding day is the one of the most special days of your life, and I want you to be able to enjoy it stress free! When you hire me, you're hiring an experienced wedding photog, a calm presence and a friend you can trust. With more than 60 weddings under my belt, I am experienced in working in a fast paced environment with all types of lighting, unexpected weather, different family dynamics, and anything else a wedding day throws my way!

I value preparing well through consistent and detailed communication with my couples, and on the day of, I'm the calm and collected pro you need to keep your day on track so you get the photos you love while feeling totally at ease.

OUR WEDDING
i have a love story too, which makes knowing yours even more special.

The guy you see up there is my absolute best friend, biggest supporter and the love of my life. Christian and I met on Hinge, so shoutout to all of my online dating success story couples! We got married right outside of Zion National Park with the people who we cherish the most and it was the best day of our lives!

We opted to ditch the traditional and write our own vows and do a first look, but we kept some of the wedding staples like our first dance as a married couple! That's the beauty of weddings, it's your day so you can do it YOUR way.

After going through our season of engagement, the wedding planning process, and now newly married life, I feel like I can connect with my couples on another level and offer the support and advice I appreciated during that time in my life.

P.S.: You might even see Christian on YOUR day as my second shooter or videographer ;)

think our styles would vibe?
let's get to know each other!
